Hi y’all! Today’s post is a tag post started by My Planner on YouTube. Mrs. Brimbles did a video where she answered all the questions.
Since I don’t have a decent camcorder I will be answering the tag through this post and attaching photos. (Warning! Post is photo heavy)
Let’s get started, shall we!
1. What planner are you currently using?
I am currently using a folio size brown DayTimer.
2. What planner(s) have given you planner peace?
Basically, my folio size DayTimer is the best set-up I’ve had. The full 8.5 x 11 size papers make it convenient to add notes.
3. Filofax, Midori or Erin Condren?
Neither. I’m using a DayTimer for my planner needs. Although, a Midori is definitely on my wants list. I’d love to use a Midori as a journal and include the cute little diary stickers I see so many others using.
4. Pocket, personal, A5 or binder size?
Binder size and then A5. I find it very convenient to not have to worry about trimming down or shrinking any pages that I need to carry in my planner.
5. Where do you get inspired the most? YouTube, Instagram or Pinterest?
YouTube. I love watching all the planner videos and how other planner users set-up their planners.
6. What’s your go to pen?
A black fine tip Sharpie and my Siberian Husky ball point pen.
7. What are your favorite inserts?
At-A-Glance week on 2 pages. The boxes are horizontal so there is plenty of space to write.
8. Stickers, post-it’s or page flags?
Page flags. I get all the cute, decorative page flags and use them to decorate and mark important events in my day planner.
9. Keep it simple or deck it out?
All decked out! I rarely have a page that doesn’t get a least a minimal amount of decoration on it.
10. How many sections do you have in your planner?
Six. Calendar, Goals, Projects, Inspiration, Blog and Novel.
11. Do you use a planner for school?
When I was in school I did use a planner. I could only afford an inexpensive DayTimer although I really wanted a nice leather Franklin Covey.
12. Rings, spiral bound, discbound or other? Why?
Rings. I don’t like how limited you are with the other types. I like to be able to move my pages around. I take my pages out of my rings when I am decorating and I couldn’t imagine the hassle or frustration from not being able to do that.
13. Do you use a dashboard? How?
Yes. The front side is a picture and the back holds all the post-it notes and page flags I use in my planner.
If you enjoyed this post and you are a planner user, why don’t you answer the questions – either through a video or writing out the answers and put a link to your tag in the comments below.
